Television memory and audience in historical research on television

The text offers a review of the fundamental characteristics of the historical studies about the Spanish television. The necessity of preserving the audiovisual patrimony is demanded. Also, the author emphasizes the importance of the audience like new subject of researching, particularly in relation with its memory. Examples of international television historical studies made in other countries are taken like possible models.
