in Memoria e Ricerca n.s. 16 (2004), p. 81
Professor Tonini provides the reader with an overview over the failed Warsaw insurrection and its bloody repression by German forces in summer 1944. Prof. Tonini’s synthesis explains the complex composition of the Polish resistance movement and Stalin’s willful non-intervention.
